With the Suratto collection (the Japanese word for slender or slat), Varaluz embraces the wabi-sabi concept of imperfection to create the perfect complement to your interior design. The Suratto 2 Light Sconce in Matte Black/Honey Blonde takes its inspiration from distilled Japanese woodwork and fusuma (vertical rectangular panels), crafted using reclaimed wood with one-of-a-kind variations in grain and markings intrinsic to a re-worked product. Flanking a bed, vanity, fireplace, or hallway, the two-light scale carries warm honey-blonde texture across the wall; as a vanity or bathroom sconce, the reclaimed wood throws soft, layered light back into the room. Hand-forged from 70% recycled steel; reclaimed wood with hand-applied honey-blonde stain; low-VOC paint.
