The Varaluz Showroom was abuzz with all that glitters this year at January Market. Introducing our largest number of new SKU's in Varaluz history, it was clear that 70's Glam was the reigning trend. We introduced a ton of Havana Gold into the showroom to give every inch of it that disco glam vibe we were striving for. To make it a real swingin' pad, we decked the whole showroom out in colorful, jewel-toned sofas and accents that really made all that gold and crystal pop!
Another HUGE trend sweeping Lightovation and Varaluz is going back to black. Black finishes could be found everywhere this year, and Varaluz was right on trend with all black finishes for new family Gymnast and returning best seller Sawyers Bar.
Top sellers at the Varaluz Showroom included the brand new 16 Light Orbital Pendant, Matrix 8 Light Linear Pendant, and The Lovebugs Wall Art. These all represent that vintage glam that is oh so in right now.
At Varaluz, we don't just follow trends, we make them. Following the sensation of experiential art museums sweeping big cities like Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco, we came up with our own Urchin Experience to share with our Reps and Customers. We created a 3-D art experience and photo-op for our guests using over 30 of our best selling Urchins. People loved getting their unique photo while admiring our Urchins in a whole new way. We can't wait to integrate more experiences like this into our showroom and beyond.
We finished a busy Market off with a huge win for Varaluz at the Annual ARTS Awards Ceremony, taking home this year's Green Award. The Green Award recognizes companies that make a positive impact on the environment in everything they do. At Varaluz, our designs are inspired by nature, and we do our part to keep nature inspiring by using recycled and reclaimed materials in almost every fixture we create. Being recognized for doing such impactful work was an honor we won't soon forget.
